COMMUNITY MATRIARCHS OF NYCHA x ABRONS ART CENTER & PHOTOVILLE

My Projects Runway partnered with Abrons Art Center and Photovillle to honor women who were born and raised in the projects of the Lower East Side. These women have been leaders in their community before the pandemic hit the world and they worked even harder when times got rough in New York City. The Exhibition “ Community Matriarchs of NYCHA" was showcased all throughout the Lower East Side. My Projects Runway partnered with two Black creatives photographer Courtney Garvin and Videographer Christopher Currence.
